Hazel's Sand

Ingredients

Base wafer

  • 100g Sugar
  • 175g of butter
  • 250g flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 75g minced hazel
  • 2 teaspoon of almond liqueur
  • Pinch of salt

Effect of Sand

  • 250g flour
  • 200g Sugar
  • Lemon zest
  • 125g butter
  • hazelnut

Preparation

Knead all ingredients of the base and the fridge light for 20 minutes. Roll out the dough and cut the taste. Crumble the ingredients of the effect of sand. Distribute the weight of the sand and decorate cookies with hazelnuts. Bake about 12 to 15 minutes or until cooked.

Remarks

They're great for making cookies on days like today, gray and rainy. Great if accompanied by a beautiful tea and an excellent movie. In a birthday of any other Erasmus, is always awesome to take something to the party. Let's do that!

Candy Hearts

Ingredients

  • 80g Cornstarch (Maizena or Tang)
  • 160g flour
  • 65g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 125g margarine
  • Plum Compote
  • Orange Compote

Preparation

Knead all ingredients until dough is pliable (if necessary add a little more flour and let the dough rest in the refrigerator a few hours - in my case it was not necessary). Roll out the dough on a floured surface or a silicone mat. Cut dough with a round mold. In half of the cookies using a heart-shaped mold and cut in the center. Overlap two wafers, a heartless and another with the heart (if not well brush paste one of the biscuits with a little water). Fill the heart with a compote to taste, in this case orange jam and plum jam. Bake until the biscuit is golden.

Remarks

A recipe for stuffed biscuits and simply irresistible. Great for eating or offer at any time. They can use any template to taste.

Flavoured Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 400g plain flour
  • 160g butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 225g brown sugar
  • Orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Fig compote

Preparation

Place all ingredients in a bowl and knead until the mixture is homogenous. On a floured surface stretch and cut the biscuits with a cutter. In half of the cookie cutter use a heart-shaped so as to form a heart in the center. Arrange a cookie with a heart on top of a heartless and fill the hole with jam. Then take the cookies to the oven until golden and the jam firm.

Remarks

To celebrate Valentine's Day I leave you some cookies dainty well to prepare and / or eat two. If you prefer, you can use other cutters or other jam. You can also bake the hearts cut, or re-knead thus making more cookies.

Ginger Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (+-180g)
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (+ - 60g)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cloves
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup molasses (+ - 120g)
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour (420g, but I put 600g)
  • Lemon zest

Preparation

Beat butter with sugar. Add the egg, baking powder, baking soda, lemon zest and spices. Add the molasses and vinegar. Stir in flour. Take the dough in a refrigerator for 3 hours (this part jumped over and added to the flour dough to stay more consistent). With a roll stretch the dough and cut the biscuits. Bake in a tray with baking paper for 7 to 8 minutes. Let cool and garnish to taste with real icing.

Glacé real

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white egg
  • 150 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Food colors

Preparation

Beat the egg castle and add the lemon juice. Bit by bit gradually add the powdered sugar until mixture is consistent. Divide the cream into bowls and place one or two like dye. Decorate the cookies with a small brush, pastry bag or even toothpicks. Wait a few minutes until dry.

Remarks

To fabricate these wafers typically used American cup measures, but I opted for also weigh the ingredients because not everyone has measuring cups with these measures. For me the cloves request is excecise, if not fond of this spice recommend reducing slightly. The frosting makes the wafer much more beautiful and fun, optimo ask for the help of children.

Cinnamon Cookies

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • cinnamon q. s.

Preparation

In a bowl mix the sugar with the butter, egg and flour. Mix well until dough that takes off the hands and the container. Mold cookies and pass them by cinnamon. Bake in furrado tray with parchment paper for 25 minutes in a medium oven until alourarem and open slightly. Do not cook too. At the touch should be cute to not get too stiff when cold.

Remarks

The recipe is not news to anyone, I think in general, everyone has done or has proven these cookies. Who has not experienced goes always on time. If you like cinnamon there's no better choice.

Milanesas of Strawberry

Ingredients

  • 250g butter, softened
  • 225g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 500g flour
  • strawberry jam

Preparation

Beat butter ointment. Add the sugar and eggs and mix well until the mixture is white. Add the lemon zest and flour gradually until smooth and involved. Form a ball and aim to cool for 2 hours (did not take). Stretch the dough with the rolling pin on a little flour and cut the biscuits to taste. Put some jam on half of the cookies. Put them on a tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake in a hot oven. Halfway through the cooking place the cookies that have no filling on top of that have, finish baking.

Decorate to taste with melted white chocolate in the microwave for 30 sec. If you prefer you can add a little red food coloring to chocolate (pay attention because chocolate can change texture, if it does add a little milk and take a few seconds in the microwave, then stir well until you get a cream again. If necessary take the some crackers in the fridge for chocolate stay hard.

Chocolate cookies

Ingredients

  • 90g of butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract (I did not use)
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp (tablespoons) of milk
  • 200g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon (tsp) baking powder
  • 170g chocolate chips or the same amount of chocolate culinary party grossly

Preparation

Preheat oven to 175 º C. Line two trays with baking paper. Beat butter and sugar in a bowl until smooth. Add the vanilla and egg gradually, beating well. Combine milk. Sift the flour and baking powder and add to the cream with a spoon. Add the chocolate. Mold crackers with a spoon and leave a distance of 3. 5 cm between them. Press the balls lightly with a floured fork. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Remarks

I typically use less chocolate, I double the recipe for cooking 200g of chocolate. You could do with white chocolate, milk, black or bitter. This recipe yields about 20/25 large cookies.

Apple and walnut cookies

Ingredients

  • 80 grams of dried Apples ace sliced thinly (I put a little less)
  • 50 grams of walnuts (I added a few more grams of hazelnut and almond)
  • 75 grams of butter (I used plant)
  • 120 grams Sugar Yellow
  • 1 pinch of salt (not iusei)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 75 grams of Rolled Oats
  • 120 grams Spelt Flour (I used wheat)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder

Preparation

Place all ingredients in a bowl, except for the nuts and apple. Mix well until I chose a folder homogeneous. Add the apple into small pieces and starting nuts also cut. Wrap small cookies and bake to bake for about 15 minutes.

Remarks

I cut thin slices of apple with peel and seed spread and put the slices on a tray. Then put the pan on top of the oven while doing something else. After finishing the temperature changed to 70 ° C and the tray placed inside the oven about 1 hour. I removed the tray and placed outdoors in the kitchen the other day - great then. We have to take into account that the apple greatly reduces their weight.

Carob Cookies

Ingredients

  • 50 g butter
  • 35 g sugar
  • 20 g of carob flour
  • 80 g of wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Preparation

Knead all the ingredients simultaneously. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Make small balls and bake for 10-15 minutes at 180 º c.

Remarks

You should remove the cookies from the oven, even when they are fluffy, after cooling stand type cookie. The day after, the cookies are even more palatable than the same day.
