31 world's dishes I love the most
I travel and eat.
Being a traveler has its own privileges on find out about unknown food, new species, new tastes. During many years I have tried so many different dishes from all over the globe, some of them have impressed me more than others and many of them would be considered not edible for an Italian palate. Yes, we all know the Italian cuisine is world wild known and loved by so many people, however I am not a good example of traditional Italian palate. Let me give you a practical example of that: I never (almost never) eat pasta, I prefer an Oriental rice or a Basmati one instead. Said that, having a Sicilian palate, also means to appreciate strong flavors dishes, in my case it's all about main dishes, as I have not that much of a sweet tooth. To be fair, I would be a liar if I say I do not eat sweets at all. But hey, I do like my food!
I have been eating the Hawaiian Pizza, a pizza with ham and pineapple and to my astonishment I actually liked it. And yes I am Italian! I have also eaten the Barbecue Pizza (chicken and barbecue sauce) and I liked it too. I loved cooked pineapple in Portuguese restaurants served warm as a dessert(delicious) and Nutella's spaghetti as well, and I am finally fond of peanut butter. I have tried the weirdest recipes and I could continue listing for ages, but I'd prefer instead to give you a concrete picture of my favorite food from all around the world.
Even if I am of course an Asian food lover I never have been to Asia. However, this does not change the fact that I am addicted to sushi.
Here's my favorite dishes, some of them have been tried out in their motherland, others have been prepared by people with experience and many have been eaten in a restaurant or at home (bought through just. eat or prepared by my skillful hands).
