What is it like to live in Vigo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Vigo was one of the best experiences of my life. I would definitely recommend visiting this city. It has many beautiful places, lots of nice parks. The night life is absolutely crazy and thus amazing.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vigo?

There are lots of places for students to go and have fun. Furthermore, most of them have no entrance fee and it's one of the most important things for students, especially the international ones.

How much does it cost to live in Vigo?

I would say that it would cost approximately around 400-500 euros per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Vigo? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not that difficult to find the accommodation in Vigo if you know the language. However, I would advise not to rush and wait for some time - then there are lots of announcements from people looking for flatmates and so on. Then it's cheaper and better.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is absolutely amazing! There are lots of sea food and their restaurants, I loved the fact that there were fresh fruits everywhere all the time.

What places would you recommend visiting in Vigo?

I would definitely recommend going to the bay at night, also, visiting the mountain of Guia.

Is it good to eat out in Vigo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is not too expensive to eat out in Vigo, the food is delicious and the people in services are very appreciative and helpful. I would recommend going to the pubs or restaurants in the old town.

The nightlife in Vigo is crazy - people stay partying all night long, everything is open till the early morning, the audience is amazing.

What advice would you give future students heading to Vigo?
