Why did you decide to go to Vigo, Spain?
Because I wanted to have an experience abroad and stay near the sea.
How long does the budget last? How much money do you get for help?
9 months with about 200 euros per month.
What is the student atmosphere like in Vigo?
Quite good. The teachers are very kind.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Vigo to other students?
Yes.
What is the country's food like?
Never as good as Italian food... but anywhere you go, there is something you like.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Vigo?
Shortly.
How much does it cost to live in Vigo?
It is very cheap.
What is it like learning the language? Have you attended any university classes?
At the beginning it was a bit difficult but then you learn to understand and make yourself be understood... I was not able to learn Galician.
What is the cheapest way to get to Vigo from your city?
By plane or coach.
What places would you recommend for going out in Vigo?
There are a lot of beautiful places... from the romantic walk to the port or by the sea... to the casco viejo or Churruca where you can find places suitable for everyone.
And places to eat in Vigo? Can you tell us about your favorite places?
In the area of the porto there are good restaurants and bars with a many types of tapas.
And cultural places to sight-see?
Parks are a wonder... like Baiona.
Any advice you would like to give to future students in Vigo?
Have as much fun as you can!
