The charm of Vigo is located principally in parties, which are really good. There are several areas for going out: the Arenal, with pubs where you must be well dressed, or Samil, an area near the beach with nightclubs with electronic music and some of them with salsa, Vinos, the old area, with rock music, where you can go to bars to drink something, and Churruca, where there are a mixture of music, from rock to house. We must not fail to mention the areas where people go early for drinking the first glass, for example, the Bartolo (cheap drinks and shots) and the area where people drink in the street, Nautico, Ruinas, Soportales, Castro, etc. In short, a city where parties start at midnight but do not finish until well into the morning. The great variety of cafes and bars of different styles which are opened until 3:00 a.m. are also remarkable. There is as well a great amount of interesting restaurant, as King Kong, Gigantes, Agacha a Testa, etc, where you can eat a big meal for little money.
Vigo has many charm places to spend the time: Castrelos, Castro, La Guía, etc. And the shopping centres everywhere with cinema and shops, in short, you do not stop! As for fiesta, there are university fiestas: San Pepe and San Teleco are the most famous, but there are also Arribada en Baiona, Reconquista en Vigo, etc. A city where you can stay a complete marvellous year far away from your customary city!
