General information of the highest tower in Hanoi
After 5 years of construction, Lotte Center is now the most highly regarded building at this time with a huge investment capital along with the most luxurious services in Asia to serve the gods here I mean the customers. Of course gods here are rich people but for student like me, it is little bit expensive. One of the attractive and prominent services of this newly opened Lotte Center is the Skywalk Observatory located on the 65th floor that allows visitors to view Hanoi completely from above.
My Third Visit
This was my third visit to lotte tower, but that time was special because I went out with my girlfriend. Generally, there are 2 time frames during the day or night to visit the lotte tower; the price is also moderately not expensive. The most liked is after paying, you can stay on the tower as long as you like.
First Impression with the elevator
My first impression of the elevator was that it was very beautiful and classy. When I took the elevator, I had tinnitus, but the ladder went up very quickly so this feeling quickly disappears. At that time, I was really overwhelmed by the view from above. So beautiful. The space on the floor was quite airy and polite. I tried to test the love tester machine and bamboo path.

Skywalk Observatory
At first, we visited the below of the tower first, that it was actually a shopping mall. Of course we didn't have a lot of money so we just visited the Lotte Mart (a supermarket). We could buy some cheap food and drink in Lotte Mart to save money.
After finishing our lunch, we went to visit the Observatory. However, we were unlucky to find out that the price for day time was much expensive than at night. As a result we just wandered around to shopping. Of course then we felt hungry again after walking so we visit Lotteria(brand fast food belonging to Lotte group, I mean the owner of this tower). Lotteria is a restaurant similar to Mcdonald's, to KFC or Subway fast foods.
Lotteria Fast Food
Source
In Vietnam, Lotteria is more popular among young people than KFC or Mcdonald's. I'm not a fan of Lotteria but there is no denying that when it comes to fast food restaurant. Lotteria is the first fast food chain I think of and the frequency with which I go exceeds that of the other chains. Another reason for this is that its price is relatively inexpensive compared to other brands where the quality of service is not inferior to the more plentiful and affordable menu. People go out to eat together. And even more importantly, because our main sponsors are mom and sister, they all love to eat at Lotteria.
In other cities, it is not known how, but in Hanoi most of the Lotteria stores are served all night so it is convenient to eat late at night. The pregnant woman who craves fried chicken in the middle of the night as the husband struggles begging his wife hard to wait until morning, with the way to work like this, it will not be difficult satisfy his wife. Lotteria's other special feature is the fast food chain but the service is not 100% self-service because I only have to order at the counter only, then will be given a card number and chair. Waiting for the food the staff will bring later, with this style I found the procedure quite good because there are many counters, but it is not enough to meet the "fast" standard because you have to wait whatever the type.
A quick review of the dishes we ate in Lotteria today:
*In Lotteria, the burger is quite rich in types, the interesting thing is that with each different type of burger will have a different color of the stripes of the bread. You should not need to see the printed word, it is enough to see the bread. The types of hamburgers are: Cheese Egg Burger with orange stripes, Green Ham Egg Burger, Red Bulgogi Burger, Pink Shrimp Burger, Blue Fish Burger, Chicken Burger and Steak Burger are in favor. However, one thing I do not like is the shell because there is too much sesame.
- Cheese Egg Burger (20,000 VND). Recently appeared. The crust is not the same as the other burgers but with the middle part is composed of a layer of eggs, a thin slice of cheese and a layer of minced beef bulgogi. I quite like to eat this burger because it is cheap and the combination of all kinds of attractive, but a bit bored because the eggs have both pho mai but not vegetables at all.
- Ham Egg Burger (15,000 VND). It is a new item of Lotteria. The middle part is composed of a layer of eggs and a piece of cold meat, because the price is low so quality is not much and say. Straight out is it bad eaten and very bored, which is too bad. I have already bought the promotion of burger bulgogi bundled with this one lasts several months.
- Burger Bulgogi (36,000 VND). A burger featured in Lotteria that is not found elsewhere (rumored to be McDonald's but unfortunately they have not joined the fast food to Vietnam. Anyway bulgogi is also food that has become from the Korean culture. The special feature of this dish is the sauce, thanks to it that the burger is fragrant fat mouth is not strange at all. Every time I go to Lotteria, I order this hamburger because lately there was a good promotion, since when buying this hamburger, a Bulgogi hamburger was included. It is good that these things are promoted, but it is too much for one person, so I recommend that you go accompanied. However, with the promotion, its quality has been considerably reduced: minced meat is thinner, there is less sauce and less vegetables and there are no more slices of onion.
Time to go up
The night time for visiting Observatory is 18:30. We went to the Lotter Center to enjoy, in addition to shopping or eating out the area, but our purpose is to visit the Skywalk Observatory on the 65th floor of the tower, where the service combines exciting sightseeing and dining.
Lotte Center Hanoi consists of 65 floors and 5 basements, 267 m high with a total floor area of 252,503 ㎡. The overall architecture consists of two parts: a tower and a base. The tower is done by Callison Architects (USA), while the interior and interior are designed by Benoy (England). This is the perfect combination of design. Stepping into the elevator to the observatory is hundreds of colorful lanterns. This is also a very beautiful shooting angle for young people.
High-Strength Glass Panels
Unique design with high-strength glass panels on all four sides of the building, allowing daylight in the sun, Lotte Center allows you to see the capital closer than ever before, reducing every Space constraints. The most unexpected thing that made the tower prominent is the idea of building the tower. Ao Dai - Vietnam traditional dress is the source of idea for the design of the building.
Balcony throughout Skywalk
What I liked the most was the transparent glass balcony, called Skywalk. With super-lightweight glass panels that can hold up to 10 people, the Skywalk gives visitors a more realistic feel when looking at this beautiful city at their feet. The balcony area is designed to allow visitors to project 360-degree visibility to the entire city. Look we are here and we can see streets and people below. At first we were scared of going out the glass but then everything seems to be fine.
Love Tester Game
Then, we visited the Love Tester Game. It was kind of questioning and matching to find whether you and your partner are great couple or not. In general, it was quite funny but I have to admit that they will always tell you that you and your partner were born for each other. Always! They said we were 88% love.
Relax in the upper floors
Besides sightseeing tours, in the Skywalk I could relax in other interesting ways. We have seen some souvenir shops for tourists, the design is quite traditional Vietnamesein Hoinam. It is an town which is old and well-preserved in the center of Vietnam.
Then we played the game of making words. You just need to type down the word you want. It will appear on the walls. We have typed "Banhchung love du du" (it was our nickname).
