Using kefir in different ways

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about using kefir in different ways and how useful it is to have it at home in your fridge!

Well, there are many things, that you can do with kefir, I mean, there are many ways of using it.

First of all, you can drink it just like that and it will be like a meal or something like that and you will just feel nourished and you wont be hungry for quite some time and its like drinking yoghurt, however, while yoghurt has those sugars and stuff in it, this kefir has no sugar and its a healthier product therefore. So, its a really light thing to drink and it wont get you have those cravings for sugar after you drink it comparing to drinking some fruit yoghurt, when its all sweet and sugary and after drinking it, I always want to drink some more of it, especially if its with cherries or peaches or pineapple, because those fruits just give me that feeling of not having enough of them, I guess. And theres this Chudo yoghurt with coconut flakes and though it has an amazing taste, its really very sweet for me and I cant really drink it that way. However, this other day when I had some kefir bought, I just decided to add it to that yoghurt and I added a little bit to it, if you want to know the truth and, well, it was just great, I must say and it was not that sweet, either, of course, and it was just a little bit sweet and if you dont want something to have or if you dont want to just drink that kefir, you can buy that kind of yoghurt and if its too sweet, then you can add some kefir to it and shake it and drink it and it will be just perfect, I guess. And you wont have to skip drinking some of your favourite yoghurts just because of that, I mean, just because they can be too sweet for you, it doesnt mean that you cant do anything to make them less sweet and drink it like that. Its just that simple and you can now drink your yoghurts just as you want.

Using kefir in different ways

You know, once I had this cottage cheese bought and it was pretty dry and stuff like that and I couldn't really eat much of it and I decided to have it get juicier and I thought, that I would add some water to it just simply that way, however, then I remembered that I had some kefir in the fridge and I thought, that it would be a great idea to add it to that cottage cheese, so that I added it and it was just perfect, I mean, it was really good and it was delicious, too, so that if you buy some cottage cheese and dont want it to be dry and things like that, you can always add some kefir to it and it will be just great.

Using kefir in different ways

You can also use kefir in baking and you can use it in your dough and its a pretty good thing to use in your dough, if you ask me. So, you can substitute Matsoni or sour cream or things like that with kefir and so that you can add it to your dough while preparing it. Though buying Matsoni instead of kefir is cheaper, if you want to know the truth. However, if you have some kefir left, which you are not going to use or something like that, you can use it in your baking instead of matsoni or anything else like that.

Ive also used kefir while preparing some Mchadi and Chvishtari. You know, these things are really delicious ones and if you havent tasted them, you should definitely taste them, because they are worth tasting. I mostly love Mchadi while my sister loves Chvishtari. The main difference here is, that Mchadi is made from this corn flour and its just that and then when its prepared, I like to cut it into halves while its still hot and put a slice of cheese into it and then this cheese gets melted and its really delicious. Chvishtari however, already has cheese inside, I mean, they shred that cheese and add it to the dough and then bake the dough and when its done, it doesnt need a slice of cheese to be put inside, because it already has some cheese in it. So, in the preparation of their dough, they sometimes use Matsoni for the dough to be softer and fluffier and when you decide to have that kind of dough, you can use kefir in it and it will get that fine consistency, if you want to know the truth.

Using kefir in different ways

Well, this was what I wanted to tell you about kefir and using it in different ways and the types of kefir in Georgia and which ones are better and everything. you know, its not that simple to just decide, that something is better than the other when you dont have them all tasted and even then, you might not be able to decide, which one is better for you , because sometimes, we just dont pay too much attention to something and then we forget it and then we realize, that we didnt do something, that we were going to do in the first place.

Well, I hope, that this information was pretty useful to you and that you will find kefir pretty good thing to use, especially if you want to lose weight, because as Ive already mentioned, its low in calories and it gives you this feeling of satiating and it makes your stomach and intestines work better, you know, so that keep that in mind and drink it from time to time, as its really a good thing!
