The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are  all doing just fine, well, at least, I am.

So in this article I want to tell you about these different types of sausages and how we eat them at our home, I mean, there are always some different things, that you can do with sausages and one of them is to just boil them and nothing else and that way you can just eat them with bread or something like that, you know, however, it's not always that thing, that you ant to do with sausage, you know. Sometimes, you will just want to have a hot dog or something like that an for that you need some other things, too, you know.

Anyways, there are so mmany different types of sausages , that you can not really choose one of them and , well, i guess, it all depends on what type of it you like and what type of it is preferrable for you in that moment. For example, there's this one type of sausage, which my father and brother like and they alwys eat that sausage and don't really buy some other ones, however, my sister doesn't like any of them and she only eats sausage rarely an when she just really wants it, you know, and what I wantedd to say is, that she likes some experiments and she usuallly loves trying some new things and that's why she likes tasting some strange things, too, you know, and she wants to taste everything, I guess, and if she liked that sausage, she would probably taste every one of them, and there are all those different types of sausages there, if you want to know the truth. You know, people just eat sausages in Germany and I eat them a lot now, too, however, I'm not that big of a fan of sausages, I can say, I mean, of ourse I love eating them, however, I still don't love them that much only to eat them the whole day, you know, comparing to my brother, who just eats sausage the whole day and when there's no sausage in the fridge, no matter whether there are some other dishes there, he just says, that there's no food in the house and that he can die with hunger.

Anyways, let me tell you about this company, called Nikora, which produces those sausages in Georgia and is very popular and they have many supermarkets around the country and they have their products sold as well as imported stuff. And, well, usually when someone wants to buy some sausage they just go to this Nikora supermarket and buy them there. You know, they have some good sales and they have these sales for two weeks and then the new sales come and stuff like that, so that you can visit this supermarket and buy some good stuff there, you know.

Sausages with milk

Anyways, there are these sausages, called sausagee with milk and it's really good, because they taste juicy and they are pretty good, I mean, they don't really have much things added like spieces or something like that and you will just have to peel them, I mean, they have some polyethylene thing around and when you prepare them, and when you take them out of the water afer boiling, you should peel them and eat them that way, and, to be honest, I really don't like that peeling process, I mean, why o you need to have something wrapped around the sausage? It doesn't really have a reason to be wrapped in that thing, if you ask me. Well, however, it's easy to tell which one is that sausage with milk, you know. it's like their differentiating mark or something like that, you know and the rapping is kind of beautiful, too, if you ask me. Anyways, they are kind of small, but kind of thick and they are pretty juicy and don't cost much, if you want to know the truth. However, I think, that they are not sold everywhere, I mean, there are some Nikora products, which you can buy just in Nikora supermarkets and not anywhere else and there are some Nikora products, which you can buy in some other supermarkets, too. Well, usually we buy them one kilogramme and have them for a couple of days in the fridge and prepare them whenever we want and it usually costs somewhere about 10 Laris a kilogramme, I guess, and it's like for 5 people for a couple of days, so that it all makes many sausages, if you count, i iguess.

Pepperoni

Nikora supermarket also has this sausage or salami, which my sister adores and it's pepperoni, and I'm sure, that you all have heard of it at least if not eaten, because, everywhere you go, you just can't skip that part of pizzas, where it says that it has pepperoni in it. You know, this pepperoni thing really changes the pizza taste and it's really delicious, when any pizzza is with pepperoni , you know. My sister really loves pepperooni pizza and we usually prepare pizza with pepperoni and some other stuff, too, of course. So, she once wanted to buy that pepperoni, however she couln't find it anywhere else but Nikora supermarket. Well, then she saw them in the Carrefour Hypermarket in East Point, too, however, it's not always possible to go to that Carrefour Hypermarket, so that you should just go to that supermarket of Nikora in any Nikora, I guess, and buy that pepperoni. they have pepperoni in that huge salami packages and they have them sliced , too, in packages and I just use to buy them in those packages, which just cost somewhere about 2.50 or 2.90 Laris and they are pretty enough for one large pizza. And they are great for sandwiches and burgers or for eating just like that, you know. It's that delicious, if you want to know the truth, and I prefer them to any other salami or sausage, if you want to know the truth.

Iveria sausages

Then there are these sausages, called "Iveria", which are long and slim and they are pretty good, too, you know, and my brother and grandmother especially love them and they always have them at home, I mean, they usually buy them and eat them and no other sausages, you know. And my parents love it , too, and usually when they buy one kilogramme of it, it costs somewhere about 13 Laris or so, i guess. It is a beef sausage and has nothing more, if you see the sign on it, so that it should be all great and stuff, you know. However, it's kind of expensive, if you ask me. I would buy some fish or chicken fillets with that moeney and have them cooked instead and eat them, because those things are healthier than sausages, you know. Those sausages you can buy in every supermarket, I guess, because they can be everywhere. We usually buy them in Fresco supermarket or Nikora supermarket and there's not that much difference between the prices there, I guess. However, if you compare prices between Fresco supermarket and Nikora supermarket, you will see some difference between the prices, because sometimes it's really obvious, when something costs less in some supermarkets, than in other ones and there can be some significant differences in prices in supermarkets in Georgia, if you want to know the truth. The very obvious and great difference between the prices are in Ori Nabiji and Fresco supermarkets, because Ori Nabiji supermarket has some high prices on some things, which are sold in Fresco supermarket in much lower prices than them. For example, Nutella chocolate paste costs up to 9 Laris in Ori Nabiji supermarket, when it only costs up to 7 Laris in Fresco supermarket and that's really a big difference if you think about it. It shouldn't be like that, you know.

Chicken sausage

Nikora supermarket also has this chicken sausage, which I just heard about some time ago and I wondered, how it would taste, I mean, while other sausages are prepared from beef and combined meat of beef and pork and things like that, this chicken sausage really interested me and I wanted to taste it some time, however, I haven’t had a chance to do that, I mean, I’m not much of a fan of sausages and I don’t really eat them often, so that when I have some sausages at home, I usually eat one if the others want it and prepare it and suggest some of them to me, too.

Vake Spetsi

Well, anyways, there’s this company Vake products, which have sausages, too, and they have some good ones, if you want to know the truth and my uncle usually buys them and I have seen their shop nearby Delisi metro station and there you can find many of their products and buy them. One of their sausages are called Vake Special or Vake Spetsi, as they call it and I have tasted them at my uncle’s and they are pretty delicious, if you want to know the truth.  They also have this other type of sausage, which is a sausage with cheese and once my uncle bought it to taste it, too, and it was pretty delicious and I really liked it, if you want to know the truth, so that you can really taste it and decide that yourself. And the price of it is just reasonable, because it doesn’t cost too expensive, you know.

Preparing sausages

So, let me tell you about preparing sausages. It’s pretty simple and even my brother prepares them himself, so that you can easily prepare them and eat them and they are pretty nourishing, if you want to know the truth, especially if you have some sauce with them and some bread, too. You know, my brother eats three sausages with some sauce, like Tkemali or whatever and with lots of bread, so that he really feels satiety after that and he doesn’t feel hungry for a long time then.

Well, first of all, you need to pour some water into the saucepan and let it boil. After the water boils, you should add some salt to the water and let it boil again, while you take some sausages and put them into that boiling water. Usually it just needs that much water, that the sausages can be covered with it. And then you wait for the water to be boiled again and then you let it boil for 5 to 7 minutes, but mostly you should take the sausages out of the water after 5 minutes, it depends on the sausages, I guess,  because there are some of them, which doesn’t get cracked after 5 minutes and there are some of them, which just need to be boiled for 5 minutes and not more. So, that’s just it, the sausages are ready and you can take them out and eat them.

I’ve also tried preparing sausages in my halogen oven and I had them on a high rack on 200 degrees Celsius and they were like that for up to 10 minutes, I guess, and they were pretty well cooked and they could be put into that sandwich bread or something like that and cooked that way, too. They were really delicious that way and they were not just boiled or something, you know, they were kind of fried or roasted or grilled or whatever and they tasted better than just boiled ones, if you ask me.
