The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this sausage and omelet bread, which I prepared the other day.

Well, to be honest, we had this halogen oven newly bought and we were kind of testing it the other day and we really liked it, I mean, it was very easy to prepare some things in it and we were really satisfied with our purchase, and it was not too expensive, if you want to know the truth. The very first thing, that we cooked there was a turkey, I guess, and it just came out pretty good.

So, after that day we started preparing  some things in our halogen oven, because we really liked preparing stuff there. It’s really good and the food is just perfect when prepared there, so, it’s a great idea to use the halogen oven for preparing food. You know, there’s no smell or things like that, which you get when cooking in a frying pan and stuff like that and that’s one of the advantages of this halogen oven.

Well, it was this morning, when everyone was getting home and people were waking up and things like that, you know, so that everyone was thinking about some breakfast of course, so we had these sausages and we had some eggs, too and bread and, well, I kind of wanted to have these omelet breads, because it had been a very long time since I last ate those kind of bread and we decided to have some of them that day. Besides, they are pretty good with sausage and since we had some sausage, we could just get them and have them, too, if you ask me, so that we got all those ingredients out and that halogen oven, too and we started preparing those things.

First of all, we had this high rack put in the halogen oven and we put those sausages on it to get cooked. In the meantime, we got 3 eggs out and whisked them and we had those bread slices which we put into this egg mixture one by one and then we put them into this toast rack and after some time, we put it into the halogen oven beside the sausages and high rack. The sausages were ready in a couple of minutes and I took them out and they were pretty good, if you want to know the truth. Well, the omelet bread slices were there getting cooked and then I thought that I would put them on that high rack since the sausages were already ready and out of the halogen oven, so that I changed the bread slices’ places to the high rack and put the lid on again.

Soon they were all cooked and stuff, however, they were not very brown or something like that, you know, how it is when you bake them in a frying pan. Well , they were soft and moist and that’s what I really wanted and that’s how I wanted them to be, so that they were just perfect for me, however, my mother likes when they are brownish and she didn’t eat those ones, so that we had to get them brown-coloured and that was when she ate them.
