Recipes with the Help of Microwave

Who said that the microwave oven is just for heating the food? For now, we will ignore the discussion of whether these devices are harmful to health and I will give you recipes of the meals you can do with a microwave oven.

First of all, I felt like I heard the question: How did you think this? I learned to cook a few kinds of food with this oven by trial and error method because of the microwave oven in the common kitchen of the apartment I stayed during the Erasmus process. The side of the incident is usually in the microwave because of the burning / burning of the cabin, the dryness of the food being cooked, and sometimes it has a bad taste. However, if you follow the recipes that I write with the times I set myself, you will not encounter these situations.

Before we start, we need a medium-sized cooking vessel suitable for a microwave oven. My preference is glass, ceramic or microwave-compatible plastic containers. In my opinion, the main rule to keep in mind when using a microwave oven is to use containers made of appropriate material. Please be careful. Otherwise you can break down the furnace, cause your plastic to melt, and remove the hard-to-clean things.

As you can see in the photo, this is a microwave in common kitchen of the house. In fact, many cooking modes are shown in the menu, but you can not switch to these modes. If your own microwave oven has such modalities and it's functional, maybe the duration and the taste of your meal may vary positively.

This is a plastic container suitable for cooking in the microwave. The cover is not very critical, but it would be better if it did. It works especially when cooking vegetables, mushrooms and meat. Now that we have made a slight gesture about what we can cook with the previous sentence, we can pass on to the text. I would like to make a little more warning, no matter what the food you cook, depending on the situation, do not forget to add water at the level. It's important that you do not stick your food to the rough and do not dry your food.

Here are the recipes:

Pasta (10-12 minutes): The cooking time varies a few minutes compared to the traditional way of cooking pasta, but check the water after an average of 8 minutes. Spaghetti and small sized pastas cook very well. Pour the macaroon into the bowl and add hot water to the top of the macaroni so that it passes 1 finger. Then add oil, salt and spices. I usually use liquid oil, if you just walk a little over it. If you prefer, you can also put tomato paste. Or you can saute your tomatoes in a separate container with oil and spices and cook them in the microwave for about 4 minutes, adding them to the last pasta. Anyway, add water, oil, salt, spices, tomato paste, etc., then place the beaker in the microwave and cook for 10-12 minutes. If you put too much pasta, remove it from the microwave oven at regular intervals and mix it for a short time so that the pasta sticks together and is well cooked. Then continue to cook again. After a maximum of 12 minutes, the cook will be ready. Now, what sauces you will use at your meal is left to your taste. You can make curry sauce, soy sauce, bitter sauces or yoghurt-mint-garlic joints, you can use cheese to melt on it. You can also use milk instead of water to cook.

Rice (16-20 minutes): The cooking time varies according to the amount and the rice again. As I mentioned before, it is important to take out and check the container once in a while. So while you're cooking something in the microwave, you need to be a little alert so that the food is dry too. First of all, pour the desired amount of rice in rough and hot water, rinse, repeat. That's what we all know. So go ahead until the water you put in rice is clear. It would not be bad if we did not do it and if we were as hot as the past, but it is better. The water you put on is a finger above the rice level. If you pour a little bit of olive oil, the rice will stay brighter after it is planted. Then add the butter and salt and cook for 8-10 minutes. It's been a long time, but I guess the rice is not cooked. Add a little bit of water and stir. Put microwave oven again for 8-10 minutes to cook. If you need to look at the taste at the end of the cooking time, cook for 1-2 minutes more. Lastly, place a paper towel or something on the microwave and on the cabinet, just relax. You can eat afterwards. Normally you can throw a bulb in the water, but it is more beautiful, you can also add water to the microwave cooked chicken.

Chicken / Meat (20-25 minutes): There are special bags for microwave ovens in the markets. Even normal bakery bags work. If you put this bag with whole garnish, sauce, seasoning and cook all the chicken directly for 20-25 minutes, it is how it is cooked in the whistling tencerede. Of course, before putting the chicken in the bag, lightly knife it with a knife and do not forget to drill holes in the bowl with a toothpick or a needle. You'd better put a little water in it after you put the chicken in the bag again. You can repeat the same process for red meat. As I mentioned before, the cooking time may vary according to the microwave oven. In this way, it is important to give you an idea of the times I have mentioned and it is in your hand to check whether you are cooked outside of it. It's a good thing to check out the coin in between. Though meat, like chicken, is cooked, the smell of your meal will be a good clue. If you plan to do without bag, you can use ceramic plates. Liquefy thinly sliced chicken / meat slices and place in a ceramic tray. Cook for 5-7 minutes. After 5 minutes, it's a good idea to check the taste and the establishment. If you marinate with spices before cooking it will be much tastier.

Another suggestion about chicken and meat will be as follows. You can cook in the water, oil, salt-filled container for about 20 minutes and you can make the meat boiled again. Later on the plate or in a separate bowl with a little oil and saffron sauce you can cook for 3-5 minutes to a kind of saute.

Species (25-30 minutes): Depending on the ingredients you put in the type of baked season, it can vary. For example, potatoes, vegetables such as carrots are more difficult to cook. But it's not a nuisance after you've kept the order right. First you put potatoes and coarse with enough water in the carpets. Sufficient amount of water will depend on you a little bit but you will be able to calculate according to it. Then add the oil, salt, garlic, and cook for 7 minutes in the microwave. If you then add other ingredients like fresh beans, peas, peas, mince, and chickpeas, and set the microwave oven for 20 minutes, you will finally have your juicy food ready. Check your salt for a break, because if you put mushrooms, all the salt goes. Look at the condition of carrots, potatoes and meat / poultry to check their cooking time. Think of the smell of your food and the consistency of the water as other clues.

Kumpir (16-20 minutes): Even the largest potatoes in the lacquer tied to the size of the potatoes are complete in about 20 minutes on average. After you have washed the potatoes, use a knife to open the holes and microwave. Here it is most logical to place the potato on a large ceramic plate. After 10 minutes you will see an obvious softness. Put it back into the microwave and after 10 minutes, it becomes soft. Later on add butter, cheddar, corn, Russian / American slices, olives and pickles. If you want to put sausage, pre-slice the sausages you have sliced and place in the bowl and cook for 2-4 minutes. You do not need to dry it.

Egg (1. 5-2 minutes): Do not use a microwave oven to cook boiled food without breaking the egg first. However, after mixing and shaking in a container, the average will be ready after 1. 5-2 minutes. If you are addicted to tomatoes, peppers, cheddar and so on, you can do this by cooking the tomatoes for 3-4 minutes before adding the egg .

Mushroom with kasar cheese (6-8 minutes): Take medium or large size mushrooms and remove the stems and cook with a little oil for a few minutes. First they need to soften slightly. Depending on the size of the fungus, this will change for a few minutes, but the event is only to soften the inside without too much waiting. Then fill the mushrooms with some butter and then with some cheddar. If you cook for 3-5 more minutes, you will have your mushroom ready to serve.

Beans (8-10 minutes): Add enough water to pass over the dried beans, tomato paste and bean paste that you consume. If you cook for at least 8 minutes after putting the spices according to the key, you will have made a bean meal which is not bad at all. The same applies to chickpea.

Chestnut (7 minutes): Chestnuts are ready to cook for 7 minutes in the microwave after you have left the chestnuts in water for a while and scratched the tops in + shape. Of course you can cook longer than you can, but at least 7 minutes.

Brigadeiro (5 minutes): Let's talk about something a little sweet! First of all, you need condensed milk to make brigadeiro. Must be sold in markets. A conservatory in Portuguese supermarkets is around 1 Euro.

Pour your baking dish together with 1 canned condensed milk. Pour 2 tbsp of butter and 1/4 cup ofnesquik. Put the container in the microwave for 1 minute and get it back for quick spread of the butter. Then mix this mixture thoroughly, leaving no chocolate dust or lumps. Bake in the microwave for 5 minutes and allow to cool in the fridge. After cooling for at least 2 hours, you can eat it like nutella with a direct spoon, or you can prepare a small tasty chocolate balls after putting the mixture into a ball and covering it with a cake decoration or chocolate sprinkles. I prefer the second one. In the meantime, for those wondering what condensed milk is, I added what I am using to this article.
