Italian Linguine with Nutmeg

Hello!

Since last days I am just trying to convince myself to study and I do not really do any interesting activities I decided to write a recipe about my favourite meal. For the first time I ate it with David. Actually, he cooked it two years ago and I immediately liked it. It is really easy.

Procedure

Firstly, you have to boil the pasta. I guess that everybody know how to do it but in case that I am wrong – just boil the water, add some salt and when it is boiling you can just add your pasta and wait approximately 10 minutes (it depends on the type of pasta). Sometimes it is good to add oil inside the water to prevent your spaghetti to be stuck together.

In the meantime you can prepare the meat and onion. It is just needed to cut it to small pieces.

Next, fry the onion with pan, add prepared meat and wait until it is roasted a little bit. After, you can add your whipping cream. You should mix it during boiling. The sauce is almost done. The important thing is to add salt, pepper and nutmeg. It makes the sauce really tasty. You can add as much spice as you want – just try it.

When spaghetti are done, you can serve it on the plate. On the top of it you can add the sauce with meat and onion and finally put parmesan on it. You can decorate the food with rucola.

It is done!

Okay, it was really easy meal but I like it a lot. Normally, this meal is served with spaghetti. Today when I cooked it I just took spaghetti from our cupboard and I did not even notice it was different type of pasta. In fact, it was linguine. It was my first time when I tried it and it was really delicious!

Of course, my mum forced me to make a saladas well even though it did not suit together haha. Nevertheless, she has a theory that if you eat salad before the food you eat less of the meal so you end up with eating more vegetable.

We also made our own ice tea. We just prepared green tea, we added a lot of ice and lemon and it was really refreshing in this weather.

I am gonna try to continue with recipes and with more difficult food – as soon as I am successfully done with my state exams. This day was just awful! I can´t study even though I really want to. I survived in the morning but whole afternoon was really unproductive. But today I found a perfect article about travelling and coming home after travelling and it made me sad again. I am about to write something deep similar soon! At least I got tanned today! We just spend about one hour on the sun and I can recognize the difference! Have a nice day!

And I have to complain also how unfair it is that we are the last students at our university who have state exams! Firstly, in the beginning of the semester they told us that we are not going to have them because they decided to cancel it. It was a good news for me. In addition, abroad they also do not have any state exams. It looked like perfect semester - writing my thesis on erasmus and that´s it. Moreover, when I participated introduction week for new students one of the main teachers also told us that state exams were cancelled. We took it as a clear thing. They just did not have time to announce it or normally it takes some time.

In November they finally announced it - but in a bad way. I mean, it was correct but it brought us a bad new. Yes, they decided to cancel it but for students who are younger than my class and we are still supposed to have it! It still was not any problem because it was long time ago. But now, I am suffering.. It is really boring and there is a lot of things to study... So I have to go.

Have a nice day!
