What do you need for the homemade cake with blueberries?
- 100 grams of blueberries
- 4 eggs
- 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
- 2/3 cup of water
- 5 spoons of sunflower oil
- 2 and 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon sodium or spoon/pack of baking powder
- 1 lemon and 1 orange
- 1 pack of sugar powder
How to make the homemade cake with blueberries?
- Take a big bowl and add the eggs and sugar in it. Mix them with a for five minutes until they are perfectly mixed.
- Then add the water and sunflower oil and mix them with the mixture.
- After that, add the sodium and the flour, but little by little, so that it does not go out of the bowl.
- Finally, wash the orange and lemon and grate their peel. Add the grated peel to the mixture and mix it up. After that, add the blueberries and mix them too.
- Then, put the mixture into a cake tray and pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. When the oven is ready put aluminium paper over the cake and put it to the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
- After the 25 minutes turn the degrees of the oven to 200 and bake the cake for 20 more minutes.
- When the 20 minutes are over try if the cake is ready by tapping on it with tooth stick. If there is nothing on the tooth stick then remove the aluminium paper and let the cake bake for 5 more minutes.
- Turn off the oven and take out the cake. Turn the tray upside down over a big plate and wait to cool a bit.
- When the cake has fallen from the tray spread some sugar powder over it and it will be ready.
When you are serving the cake you can add some yoghurt or jam to it, which will make it even better. Enjoy!
