Cinnamon rolls
Cinnamon rolls are a super tasty treat, easy to prepare, perfect as a snack or dessert. I have to thank my Polish friend for this amazing recipe. Apparently Polish people are used to eat them often, or maybe it was just him. First of all, it doesn't take long to prepare cinnamon rolls - nothing a bunch of students prepare on their spare time ever does. In fact, we were able to prepare them in less than half an hour.
Ingredients
- 1 ready-made sweet pastry;
- 6 tablespoons cinnamon;
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar.
We chose to use ready-made pastry and not make the dough on our own because we were tired and not really in the mood. Plus, this way we gained more than half an hour.
Directions
Place the pastry on a baking tray - I recommend putting oven paper below it. In the meantime, preheat the oven at 180° Celsius (380/400° Fahrenheit). Spread the cinnamon all over the pastry, then spread the brown sugar too. Once you've done this, roll over the pastry like they do in this picture:
Do that until you get one single giant roll, like the one in the picture:
Then slice it. The thicker each slice is, the fluffier the rolls will be. It is really down to personal taste, personally I suggest you make them thick like the ones in this picture:
Cinnamon rolls usually have an icing on top, but since me and my friends were feeling lazy we decided to pass.
So, the next step is to bake them. Put them in the oven for fifteen to twenty minutes. They're ready to be eaten!
