Chickpea and pea stew

Hello everyone!

Today I am bringing to you, a chickpea dish that has a little sauce that makes it very tasty and it is a different way of making this delicious and healthy legume. Whenever I can, I have it with fish.

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • Chickpeas (200 grams of the ones that come already cooked, in a glass jar).
  • One small tin of peas.
  • 2 cooked eggs.
  • Half a teaspoon offlour.
  • Half an onion.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • Dried parsely.
  • 1 tablespoon of toasted and crushed almonds.
  • 1 cup of beef stock or chicken (from Tetra brik)
  • Saltto your taste.
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Preparation:

1. Put the oil in a pan to heat it and add the onion and well cut garlic. Once they are lightly fried, add the flour and turn them a few times on the heat.

2. Then, pour the stock and when it starts to boil, add the almonds, salt, peas and then fried tomato.

3. Once the liquid starts to boil again, include the chickpeas and leave it to cook for 5 minutes. Now take the pan off the heat, and add the eggs cut it slices and sprinkle it with parsely.

Suggestions:

If you have fresh cod, you can add a fillet, just when you are adding the almonds and you have yourself a completely delicious dish.
