The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about my brownies recipe, which I kind of made up, because I prepared it with just the things I had, and, besides, I didn’t want them to be very sweet, as brownies always are.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate chips, 1/3 cup;
  • Milk chocolate, 1/3 cup;
  • Butter, 50 grams, unsalted;
  • Sugar, 2 tablespoons;
  • Warm water, 2 tablespoons;
  • Egg, 1 large;
  • Apple puree, ½ cup;
  • Cocoa powder, 1 cup;
  • Oatmeal flour, 1 cup;
  • Vanilla;
  • Cinnamon;
  • Espresso powder;
  • Walnuts, cut.

Preparation process

The preparation process isn’t difficult at all, because all you have to do is just mix all those ingredients together, of course. However, when I searched on the internet, there were some instructions about that and now I’m going to tell you about them.

  1. First of all, you should have those chocolate chips and milk chocolate and whatever chocolate you have there melted on a low heat on gas or in a microwave, but I heated them on gas in a small bowl, stirring them occasionally, so that they wouldn’t get stuck on the surface of the bowl.
  2. Then I added that 50 grams of butter to the melting chocolates and melted them together, because melting just chocolate wouldn’t be that easy as melting them together.
  3. After that, I also added the white granulated sugar to the chocolate mixture and stirred, so that everything would get mixed together, and, besides, the sugar would dissolve in the mixture too.
  4. Then it was time to have an apple taken and it was a small golden apple and I just took half of it and peeled and cut a little and then put those pieces into my chopper-blender bowl to prepare some apple puree. When the puree was done, I just had to add the other ingredients to the bowl.
  5. The next step was to add that cocoa powder to the bowl and since I like cocoa powder so much, I added plenty of cocoa powder to the bowl. And I thought, that it would be enough for the mixture to be thick, however, I needed to add some oatmeal flour, so that the mixture would get thick and be just the way it should have been.
  6. I also added some vanilla and cinnamon and some espresso powder. If you like your cakes to have some coffee flavor, then you can add it even more.
  7. After that, I added one large egg to the bowl and mixed everything together very well.
  8. Then it was time to add the chocolate mixture to the bowl as it had cooled down a little bit, so that I added the mixture to the bowl and had it mixed with all the other ingredients.
  9. After that I added some walnuts and used the chopper-blender to have them cut a little bit.
  10. And then everything was ready!
  11. I turned the convection oven on 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
  12. I took the aluminum foil baking forms, which I had bought some time ago and I poured the dough into them on a 2-3 centimetres thickness.
  13. Then I put them into the convection oven on a high rack and waited for the brownies to get baked.
  14. After half an hour of baking the convection oven was turned off and I took the brownies out. They were just great and they tasted awesome, too. Well, of course, I had to wait a little bit until the brownies got cooled down and they were eatable.

Some tips about eating those brownies

So that was my recipe for brownies that are not very sweet and, besides, they are pretty easy to prepare. And maybe you don’t have some chocolate chips or walnuts or apple puree, you still can prepare those brownies, however, preparing them with those stuff is better, of course. And if you don’t use the chocolate chips, then you can add some more butter and milk, maybe, and cocoa powder and some sugar, too, because chocolate gives the brownies their sugary taste, after all.

You know, you can have some berry yogurt poured onto the browniesand eat them like that. I had this wild berry yogurt in the fridge and I ate it with my brownies and it was really good and I really recommend it to you, too. Those two things kind of compensated each other and made a pretty delicious thing in all.

You can also have some jam eaten with the brownies. I had this plum jam, which is very delicious, but it was even more delicious with the brownies, because they were not very sweet and they were pretty good with the jam.

If you want to have some pretty cool brownies, you can also add some chocolate glaze on the top of the brownies. I prepared this chocolate glaze with some chocolate chips and heavy cream. I just melted those chocolate chips and then added the heavy cream to them. Then I just poured the mixture on the brownies and it was really good with its chewy consistency. I know, that many people love chocolate glaze, so that if you want to make those brownies even sweeter, you can have some sugar added to the chocolate glaze and poured it on the brownies.
