Bean wraps recipe

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine.
In this article I want to tell you about this another recipe, which I find pretty interesting, and, well, it is very popular, I mean, some of those types of things are very popular, as it is fast food and it is like everyone's favourite thing to eat, especially when they are on a way or in a hurry or something like that and they can just go into the supermarket or a bakery or somewhere the similar place and buy it and eat it, and, besides, it is very nourishing at the same time and kind of healthy, you know. Well, it all depends on what you have as a filling and everything, however, whatever you have, it may not be that kind of thing, that is not healthier than some kind of chips or things like that, you know. So that, this thing is pretty cool and everyone must give it a try. Also, it's easy to prepare and you can have those things prepared and stored in the fridge and get them out and warm them up whenever you feel like eating them and it will just be an easy way to have a great healthy meal each time you want to have something. And, of course, you can take them wherever you want and it won't be like worrying about not having your bag get dirty or something like that, I mean, there are things, that you can not really put into your bag, because they might have juice or oil or something and they can get everything dirty inside your bag if something happens and these things happen a lot, if you want to know the truth. And then, you just discover everything in your bag is filled with that juice or something like that and that everything has been ruined and you can not really do anything about it, so that it is a mess there and you should just throw everything away, I guess, or maybe some things can be saved and you can be happy about it , I mean, if you save any of those things in your bag.
Anyways, these things are called "Wraps" and there are so many variations of those wraps, that you can not really imagine, I guess, however, I will just tell you about some of them and how easy it is to prepare them.
Well, to tell you the truth, the very first wrap that i tasted was in KFC restaurant, where I ate this delicious i-Twister and it was just great with that barbeque sauce and everything. At first, when I looked at it, it didn't really looked like it was going to be something very delicious and I didn't really want to taste it and I was going to get some wings or something like that and that was when my friend told me, that she had eaten that i-Twister and she just loved it and she was going to order it that day, too, so that i believed her and ordered the same, too, however, mine was the barbeque sauce and not that cheese one or whatever they have, which my friend likes a lot. So, that wrap was pretty delicious and it had everything, that made it that tasty and , besides, it was just that portion, which i could eat and be enough, I mean, there are portions, which are way too large for me and eating them is pretty hard, because I don't like to leave some pieces of meals and i think, that it is a bad thing to do, so that i always try to have that type and size of portion, which i can eat and not be like eating with force or something like that, so that I can be pretty satisfied with my meal, you know. And this i-Twister was just perfect for it and the price was pretty good, too, and since then, I just ate i-Twister whenever we got to KFC restaurant , if you want to know the truth.
Beans wrap
ingredients:
- Beans, 500 grams
- Onions, 2-3 medium
- Salt to taste
- Ground thyme
- Ground coriander
- Bay leaf
- Oil
- Water
Preparation process
Anyways, this other day when I was visiting my aunt, she had this Lavashi bought, it's called "Dedas Lavashi" and not only that, I mean, there are different types of that lavashi and they are called differentt names, of course. And, well, they are just these wraps, that you can use in whatever you want and you can even eat them like that or with just some sauce and they are pretty delicious even that way, you know, so that you can substitute an usual bread with those lavashi things and just eat them and they will be healthier, I guess, or for diet, because it is not prepared with yeast and things like that, as it's written on their label. However, they cost more than one bread, but it all depends on the type of bread, that you are buying, and, well, this wrap is pretty long in size, I mean, it's not for just one person, it's more than enough for just one person, you know. And usually the bread costs somewhere about 80 tetris and this lavashi wrap costs 1.20 laris or so and as i've already said, it's more than enough for one person and it can make many wraps with normal sizes, so that it's really worth it, if you ask me.
So, I will tell you about these beans wrap and how my aunt prepares them. Well, she prepares some really delicious beans, if you want to know the truth and, hence, the wraps are pretty delicious, too, and I just love them and I ate them a lot that other day, because they are so light to be eaten, you know, comparing to eating beans with bread.
Well, first of all, you need to buy some good beans and she buys that white and red coloured beans, which are called "Dedofala" in georgia and they were recommended by my another aunt, who is a great cook, however, it's not her profession, I mean, she is a doctor, but has some great cooking and baking skills and she prepares very delicious cakes, too. So, these beans are pretty delicious and they get cooked in a short time, too, and it's really good when you don't have to wait for the beans to get cooked for a long time. It's really tiring to wait for them for so many hours and then you jjust have this small amount of beans after all that waiting.
Anyways, you just take those beans and wash them and add them into a saucepan and add some water just to cover them and put the saucepan on the gas and let the water get boiled. when the water boils, you just pour it out and add some fresh water to the beans and fill the saucepan with it and have it on a high heat gas. After the water boils, you can turn the gas down to medium or low and let those beans get cooked. You can add a bay leaf to it and some salt, so that the dish will get a little tasty even in the beginning of the cooking. I sometimes even add some spices, such as ground coriander and ground thyme, so that the beans will have some great taste and the taste will be even greater when they are done. Well, after some time, you can taste the dish and see whether it is ready or not and if it needs something to add or whatever. Usually the water evaporates and sometimes, you just need to add some more water and in that case, remember, that you should not add cold water to the dish, but you should add some boiling water or boiled water. For that, I usually boil some water into my electric kettle and have it added that way. After some time when you check the beans and they are ready, you can take them out of their stock if the stock is plenty, or if it is not, you can leave them like that, however, that time the stock must be really kin of some drops or something, because then you need to cook them on a frying pan or even in that same saucepan, if you want.
So, when the beans are ready, you should prepare some onions, so that you can cook them in an oiled frying pan and add them to the beans. So, I usually chop 2 or 3 medium onions and have them put in an oiled frying pan and cook them for some time until they get golden brown in their colour. And in the meantime, you should add some salt to them and some spices, too, so that the onions will get a better taste of all those things. When they are golden brown in colour and everything, you can take that beans and add them to the onions and mix them together occassionally stirring, so that the beans will get cooked in that frying pan and get that taste, which makes them taste very delicious, you know. So, when you have the beans in that frying pan and stirring and stuff, they get cooked and they are kind of split and things like that , you know, so that you might even want to split them even more or just leave them alone. However, splitting them is a better choice, if you ask me and everything just gets more delicious, I mean, when you add more spices to the dish, it becomes pretty delicious, you know. After some cooking, the beans are ready and you can use them in your wraps and everything.
There's this "rule" of wrapping those beans, too, i mean, you can not just put that wrap on the and hope, that it's ready to be eaten. Well, of course, you can eat them that way, too, but if you want to have them as those wraps, that i'm talking about , then you should wrap them carefully and with some thinking, of course. So that, it's liike you are wrapping a letter or something like that and you just need to wrap it very well, so thhat when you cook them, the filling won't come out or something like that. So, you should know, that you need some long lavashi for one wrap, however, not that long as it is in one pack, of course, i mean, there's this long lavashi wrap in one package of it and you don't need i all for just one wrap. You can prepare more than 20 bean wraps with that one package of lavashi, I guess, if you want to, because it all depends on the sizes of your portions, I mean, it all depends on how large you want your portions to be, you know. So that, you can decide how many beans wraps you will get from that one package of lavashi.
You know, you can even add some fresh chopped coriander to the beans and it will make them even more delicious, I mean, these fresh herbs have their own special taste and though you are adding some ground coriander to the dish, it's still not the same, when you add ground and dried things compared to adding some fresh herbs. However, many people don't use fresh coriander in that beans filling, if you want to know the truth.
After you wrap your beans filling, you can cook them for a couple of minutes in an oiled frying pan on both sides and then you can eat those things, you know, and they are really delicious and tasty and very light to eat and that way you can eat them plenty as you like. Well , if you don't want to eat them at once, you can have them wrapped and everything and just put them into the fridge and store them for some time until you want to eat them and stuff likee that. it's a great idea to have them stored , because then, when you want to have a quick lunch, you can take them out and cook them. What's more, you can even eat them that way without cooking and that's just a great thing, if you ask me. Although, it won't be hot or anything, I mean, when you have them in the fridge and take them out and eat them, of course, they won't be warm and they will be really cold, however, the taste will just be that same great and delicious and you won't be disappointed even with eating that cold beans wrap, if you want to know the truth. You should also know, that if you cook those wraps, you should eat them at once, I mean, you shouldn't let them get all cold and stuff like that, because that way, they are not that crusty and stuff like that and you won't really like them, i guess, well, at least, they won't be the same, asa the freshly cooked hot ones, of course, and if you store them for the next day, they probably won't be just like the way you wanted them to be, I guess, so that you should cook as much as you can have, because it's better if you cook them the next time, that you will want to have them, because that way, they will be fresh and freshly cooked and you will love eating them more than eating some of the leftover ones from the day before, of course. Well, you know, there are some things, that you should eat after a night or a day from preparing them, because the taste willl be more delicious and everything, however, this is not the case and, well, the filling can be like that, I mean, stored for a night or something and then eaten after that time, however, if you have those beans wraps already prepared and cooked, you should not wait a night for them to be ready to be eaten. So that keep that in mind and have them freshly cooked for the better taste of those beans wraps.
So, when my aunt prepared those beans wraps and let me taste them, I as pretty amazed by them, because they were really delicious and something light to eat and I just loved eating them. Besides, you know, that the eans are pretty healthy and they have some vitamins and proteins and can be really good for our health if consumed from time to time and this is a great way of having beans as meals and everything and it's really better than eating those chips and other stuff and even cheeseburgers and hamburgers and things like that, you know. I'ts like Lobiani, however, it's lighter, as i've already said, and while Lobiani is prepared of this dough and it's like a bread and heavy and everything, this beans wrap is exactly the same filling as that of Lobiani, though it is wrapped in this Lavashi, which is lighter and if cooked, it just tastes really great. So that, if you love eating Lobiani and you want to have some already prepared Lobianis at home and just take them and eat them whenever you want and not to have to prepare them all the time from the beginning to the end and wait for it to be ready to be eaten or don't want to buy those baked Lobianis somewhere in the supermarkets or places, where they prepare Lobianis, you can just have those wraps prepared and have them at home in the fridge and take them out whenever you feel like it. I find that thinng very useful and, besides, you don't really know, what those Lobianis are made of, I mean, they have so much oil on them, that you won't want to eat them, you know, however, when you really want to have some Lobiani and you don't have other choice, but to buy them somewhere i that place, where they prepare some Lobianis and Khachapuris and stuff like that, you just buy them and eat them, and when you have your own beans wrap, you can just be relaxed and eat it when you want and, besides, you will know, what its made of and how it's made of and that it doesn't contain any bad products or something like that, you know, and that's pretty good, if you ask me. And it's better to take them with you that way, than just to have beans in a container or something, because then you need to have a fork and everything and some place to eat it, of course, and that needs too much effort comparing to just having those beans wraps. Well, I would prefer having them in my bag and, well, if you are moving around the city by your own car, that's even better for that, I mean,,you can have them in your car and eat them whenever you want and you won't even have to carry them with you, since you are with your car and you can leave them there and everything, you know.
Anyways, that was what I wanted to tell you about those beans wraps and how they are pretty useful when you're on a way or in a hurry or something like that. It's always a good idea to take those wraps with you wherever you go.
