Atanas' Salad

In Bulgaria we have holidays dedicated to people with sertain names. Atanasov den (Atanas' day) is on the 18th of January. It is the day you should greed people named Atanas and Atanaska.

Ingredients:

  • Five hundred grams of potatoes
  • One (equals six hundred grams) jar of pickles
  • Five or six pieces of garlic
  • Two hundred grams of mayonnaise
  • Two hundred grams of yogurt
  • Ten pieces of black olives
  • You can also use boiled eggs if you want to

Preparation:

  • You have to start by boiling, pealing, and then cutting the potatoes into small pieces. Then you need to add some salt (depends on your personal taste and desire).
  • The second step is to cut the pickles into small pieces as well.
  • You then need to add the mayonnaise, mixed with the yogurt. Then you have to stir.
  • You use the eggs and the olives to decorate the salad if you want to.
