The owner of the place is a very friendly and charismatic individual. If you’re polite, he’ll allow you to pick your favourite tunes to play through the shisha lounge stereo system.
If you’re looking for some entertainment, the shisha lounge plus staff can provide you with Backmaggon board sets, cards and a couple of other multiplayer board games to augment your night with your mates. On some nights, the shisha lounge hires a traditional Afghan dancer to showcase the highly popular belly-dancing culture that is so predominant in Afghanistan. Often enough you'll see some of the regular patrons breaking out into dance for a cultural experience that you can't miss as you witness the raw passion and happiness of enjoying a good dance with mates regardless of who's watching.
As previously mentioned, the location is very central. On a friday night you will be in the thick of the party scene. You’ll often see all types of party individuals. This place starts to get pretty busy from friday night onwards, so make sure to secure your seat before 10PM. The shisha lounge tends to stay open till about 3-4 am on saturdays if you’re looking to do something after Adelaide’s lock out.
The Shisha lounge is also located a few minutes from the police station if any issues should arise. However, the shisha lounge is heavily regulated and you should not run into any trouble. You may need to watch out for the occassional aggressive drunk passing by as there are large masses of people moving back and forth on a friday or saturday night on Hindley street.
