What is it like to live in Winterthur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I don't live in Winterthur but the city is very nice. There is a lot to do and the old town is very charming. It's quite a big city with good train connections.
What is the student lifestyle like in Winterthur?
The student-life is very nice. In the old town are a few pubs to hang out and also parks where it's nice to sit in summer.
How much does it cost to live in Winterthur?
I don't live there but i'd say it's rather expensive so be prepared.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Winterthur? Is there any advice you can give?
I think it's easier finding accomodation in Winterthur than finding accommodation in Zurich.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
There are plenty of restaurants and food trucks in Winterthur. I'd say you'll find a lot of different dishes. The food in Switzerland is very diverse in the city.
What places would you recommend visiting in Winterthur?
The old town, the Foto museum, the Technorama, Töss river, Art museum, Musikfestwochen in the oldtown as Afropfingsten, Albanifest, there are a lot of events happening in the old town
Is it good to eat out in Winterthur? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
There are a lot of food trucks at the Stadtgarten-area which are affordable.
Is the nightlife good in Winterthur? Where is good to go?
Yes there are a lot of bars and a few clubs
What advice would you give future students heading to Winterthur?
Winterthur is nice!
