Why did you choose to go to Vigo, Spain?

I chose it because Vigo was only chance to going to Spain for me.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It is for five months. I didn't calculate it but It is too much money.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vigo?

That is good. Weekdays we have to go to school but according to your section maybe it depends. Parties starts on Thursday night until Sunday.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Vigo to other students?

Yes absolutely I recommend it.

What is the food like?

It is really good. Because when you went to some cafe, pub or something like that and when you ordered drinks they bring you little food. They called that is Tapas.

How much does it cost to live in Vigo?

If you want to really enjoy this city and travel you can spend 500 € monthly.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are two kind of language that they speak here here. Galician and Spanish. We have a course at the university. You can choose these languages or another.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vigo from your city?

From Istanbul to Vigo the best way is firstly a flight to Porto and then you can find easily bus from Porto to Vigo. Or you can fly to Santiago and then you can get on train or bus to going to Vigo.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Vigo?

There are lots of bars, pubs and discos here. For example Zero Cubico, Loft, Tokyo...

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Vigo?

Vigo has a culture like an other Spanish cities that is Tapas. For example Imperial Tapas Bar is good and really cheap (24, Colombia street).

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Vigo has little cultural sites. You can go Castro, Isla Cies (but you can go there only from beginning of summer to October), Port of Vigo, museums (MARCO)... And you can go to other cities closed to Vigo by bus or train: Santiago de Compostela, Porto, Ourense...
