Why did you choose to go to Vigo, Spain?
I am a PhD student, so I choose vigo based on my field.
Actually, I am not an Erasmus student.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I am self funded for 3 years, just came to erasmus website to meet new people.
Around 600 euros, it is fine.
What is the student lifestyle like in Vigo?
You need to speak Spanish so you can make friendships or live as a local here.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Vigo to other students?
Not more than 3 or 6 months.
What is the food like?
I think you will need to learn how to cook. Otherwise you won't find much variety.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Vigo?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Vigo?
From 200 to 250 euros to have a room in a shared apartment.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vigo from your city?
I am Egyptian, I have to go by plane.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Vigo?

Nuevo derby,
and the American kitchen in the mall.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Vigo in the future?
Make friendships so you won't get bored and contact me;)
