Why did you choose to go to Vigo, Spain?

I found an internship very interesting at the University of Vigo.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I was in Spain during 3 months. I received 200 euros from my university in France.

What is the student lifestyle like in Vigo?

I don't see the students. I only work with researchers.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Vigo to other students?

Of Course, Vigo is an amazing city, very safe and very pleasant for students.

What is the food like?

The food is the same that in France.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Vigo?

A French student who lived in Vigo helped me to find my accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Vigo?

It costs around 300 euros to live in an apartment. I spent around 500 euros every month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I don't speak Spanish. I only spoke English when I was in Vigo.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vigo from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Vigo?

There are a lot of places to have fun in Vigo as near the port or in the center. Casco Vello is a good place to start the night in Vigo.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Vigo?

There is a very good French restaurant.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Vigo in the future?

Vigo is an amazing city. Have fun!
