What is it like to live in Viena? Would you recommend it? How is it?

Viena is a beautiful city to live in and of course I would recommend it. This city has a very high quality of life, the transport is very good and the architecture, customs, free time is very positive.

What is the student lifestyle like in VIena?

Viena is a student city with people from all over the world. It's possible for you to hear your own language when you walk past someone. For me, it seems very good for students because it is calm and there's a good atmosphere.

How much does it cost to live in Viena?

Viena is quite an expensive city, for me the most expensive things are clothes, food, shoes and rent. I'd advise that you have between €150-200 a month as a minimum for your person spending (free time, food, etc. )

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Viena? Do you have any advice?

Although it costs work, but if you are a student everything is easier, they give you opportunities.

My advice is that before coming here you should be sure that you have your accommodation fixed so that no one can turn their back o you and then you find yourself on the street.

What are your favourite dishes?

The food depends on where you are living and with who. I come from Spain, and I remain with my own food from my country.

But the best dishes for me are: the escalope in batter with potato salad, and ox cooked with vegetables.

What places would you recommend visiting in Viena?

All of the churches, cathedrals, museums, parks, etc.

And to eat in Viena? Can you recommend some good restaurants?

In order to eat the best are the menus (neither drinks nor bread comes) but they are quite economic. Any restaurant in the centre of Viena is good.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Viena?

Here people usually go to the parks to drink as it is not prohibited, in the Prater there is a disco and it they are joined to small houses. But here the atmosphere ends quite soon.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Viena in the future?

Don't be afraid to embark on an adventure, Vienna is a beautiful city, expensive at the same time, but if you want to learn German this is your place.
