Menorca

Menorca is such a beautiful island! The weather is perfect and the beaches are gorgeous. When you first arrive to Menorca you can stay at different parts, the two most popular are Mahon and Ciutadella de Menorca. You can either rent a car right away or take a bus from the airport, which is located just outside Mahon. I took a bus from the airport to Ciutadella because I wanted to be near the old city of Menorca. Ciutadella is amazing; the old part of Menorca with the cathedral is gorgeous! We stayed at Hostal Oasis, which was perfectly located near Ciutadella. We walked everywhere around the port and little city area. All the beaches are protected so you can either go by boat or walk.

We took a boat tour, so we met at the port hopped on the boat where it took us to a couple of beaches. The boat tour included lunch and it was amazing! They also had snorkel gear you could use to go snorkeling when we stopped at the beaches. The beaches were beautiful, clear water, blue as the sky and perfect looking. Not too many people on the little beaches because some you have to walk an hour or so to get to. The other options to the beaches are by car, Vespa, or bus. You can take either way or transportation that drops you off outside of the beach area where you will then have to walk 30-1 hour to get to the beaches. It is not that bad to walk it makes it more special when you see these beautiful beaches all clean and so gorgeous!

The nightlife is also amazing in Menorca, the clubs are located near the port but there are also bars everywhere very fun! The restaurants are also so amazing! Everything is so fresh and beautiful. This is a great place to relax or go with your significant other or even family! It is what you make it!

We also visited Cova d'en Xoroi which was breath taking! They have different sessions, one in the morning, then afternoon, then nighttime. The night one is the best because you can watch the sunset. This place is located on the rocks, it's in a cave and is the most beautiful thing you will ever see!
