Salzburg, Austria by Iris
What is it like to live in Salzburg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Life in Salzbug is great! It is completly different than life in Salamanca, but also great!
Salzburg is the hometown of famous Mozart, which means there are many tourists and it is a lot of culture to see.
What is the student lifestyle like in Salzburg?
My home town is Graz, in the south- east of Austria. In comparison to Graz or Salamanca, student lifestyle in Salzburg is boring. There are a few bars, but only a few coffee shops and other student hotspots.
Of course, there is also a nightlife, and it is also fun, but, as mentioned, no comparison to Salamanca or Graz.
How much does it cost to live in Salzburg?
Salzburg is very expensive. Alimentation costs the same as in other parts of Austria, but the living costs and especially the rent of a flat is very expensive! Salzburg is, I think, the most expensive city of Austria.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Salzburg? Is there any advice you can give?
It is not very easy to find (cheap) accommodation in Salzburg.
I don't know any good advice - maybe this might help:

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food's great! My favourite dish is a Bosna (similar to a Hot Dog) - Bosna is very famous in Salzburg and costs around 3, 30 Euro (which is quite cheap for Salzburg).
