How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarships in Madrid are for one semester, and for Salzburg you get 250 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Salzburg?

It surprised me the number of international students in Salzburg, it's not a very big city so I thought there wouldn't be many international students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Salzburg to other students?

The city is very pretty and I studied in the PH university. It was nice to study there and there where very good teachers.

What is the food like?

There's typical Austrian food, although I wouldn't highlight Salzburg for their gastronomy.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Salzburg?

It was very easy to find accommodation, I found one in stutenheim, although there are a lot more which I didn't know about before going to Salzburg. There are a lot of dorms.

How much does it cost to live in Salzburg?

My room was 327 euros and in food maybe yo can spend 200 euros aproximately (I'm not very sure).

The transport is a little bit expensive, but you can buy the 6 month transport card for students which is 125 euros. The cheapest transport is the bike, and a lot of people use it.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language was not a problem for me. The courses in the PH were in English and we also learned some German.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Salzburg from your city?

I choose to take a plane from Madrid to Munich and then a train to Salzburg.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Salzburg?

O'MALLEY'S.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Salzburg?

There's a lot but I didn't go to a lot of restaurants. In L'Osteria they have very good and cheap pizzas. Is in the center.
