What is it like to live in Salzburg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Salzburg is insanely beautiful, it is a place where you can skii in the morning and relax on a lake in the afternoon.

It's freaking expansive, flats are overpriced and eating/drinking is sort of expensive as well, the thing is, it is absolutely worth it.

Nightlife is great here, pretty much for each age group it is, I never met anyone who did not love it here, I seriously don't know if there are cities which are more beautiful in the world.

What is the student lifestyle like in Salzburg?

Salzburg's Students are split up, the group who is was raised here, is not that active, due to them beeing used to the city.

The ones who move here, are super active tho, in the FH they usually have a party every week, the UNI people have random parties thrown all the time.

How much does it cost to live in Salzburg?

A lot.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Salzburg? Is there any advice you can give?

Depends on the size of your purse.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are all sorts of food, but the quality is great, pretty much wherever you go.

What places would you recommend visiting in Salzburg?

Uff, the older parts of the town are sure great for a trip.

Is it good to eat out in Salzburg? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

The food quality in Austria in general is amazing, my favorite spots for food in Salzburg are: L'osteria, Panda, pretty much every "Wirtshaus" especially: Webersdorfer, Grünauer or Laschensky.

Is the nightlife good in Salzburg? Where is good to go?

Like mentioned before, it's awesome for each group of age, for Students the main city is great, there are a ton of clubs to go, for example the Watzmann.

What advice would you give future students heading to Salzburg?

We are a small city with a lot of history, it's worth a visit, but expensive.
