What is it like to live in Salzburg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Salzburg is world-famous for its beauty and its cultural diversity, surrounded with mountains and lakes. The citizens of Salzburg sometimes seem cold and almost scornful of your attempts to speak German.

They like to use their bicycle quite often. Salzburg has a dense network of bicycle routes and it is the best solution, because Salzburg is pretty small city, but there are often traffic jams. I would recommend it if you want the quite lifestyle.

Salzburg is pretty touristy, without a very big scene for young people. Streets of Salzburg are full of tourists, but in the evenings most of them are empty.

What is the student lifestyle like in Salzburg?

Salzburg is central located and is a very good point to travel throughput Europe. On the weekends students traveled all over(Italy, Prague, Croatia... ) while other stay through the weekend in Salzburg enjoying the palaces.

How much does it cost to live in Salzburg?

About 800€.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Salzburg? Is there any advice you can give?

It is pretty hard to find accommodation. The best solutions are WGs.
