What is it like to live in Queretaro? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Querétaro is one of the most secure cities in México, also by beeing a province, everything is near such as supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, colleges, bars, hospitals, everything is reachable by car in no more than 20 minutes.
The people are available to offer any kind of help, from paper work to the simpliest matter.

The only thing i don't get, is the public transporte, the buses services are pretty bad. But again, if you have some friends they would gladly take you everywhere in no more than 20 minutes.
Therefore, right now, in the current México , i highly recomend queretaro because of all its benefits and fewer wrongs.

It is a little more dificult than in europe, because there is allways homework or flash tests.
Also it is cheaper, because they are governmental.
But at the end is the same, you can have good grades as long as you study and deliver everything in time.

Also here in Querétaro there are more deppartments available rather than rooms, but they go around 5000 pesos (300€) with all services included (internet, parking, pool, furniture, etc) and you can easily share it with one or two more people, so again the price is low.
And there are plenty of deppartments available, but i highly recomend you to search with time, some deppartment near your univeristy, work, etc.because the transport.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Mexican food is one of the reachest in the world so there are any kind of dishes to any different people. But mustly all the dishes have high fat properties so at first it might be hard to adapt, also the spice food is sometimes too much to handle.
Generally it is ok.

I really like sea food, and there are plenty places to eat and cheap. For example, i love fishers which has any kind of dishes available, fancy ones, complicated ones, classic, etc. And all of them in no more than 12€. But this is the most expensive place in Querétaro, there are others like "delicias del mar" which have the same dishes (perhaps not that good) but cheaper (7€).
Now if you would like to eat classic food, then dishes such as "molletes", " enchiladas", "chilaquiles", " tortas", "gorditas", etc are available for no more than 2€
