Life in Pecs is quiet and peaceful, but still has a vibrant nightlife for the young ones looking to have some fun. It is also a city with hills, so you can go hiking whenever you want.
What is the student lifestyle like in Pecs?
It's a bit stressful, but one can find a way to balance their studies. Everywhere is easily reachable, so there's not much stress in getting from one class to another.
How much does it cost to live in Pecs?
It is not that expensive, about $500-700 is enough to get a decent place to stay and to eat.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pecs? Is there any advice you can give?
It's not so difficult, but for those who want to get an apartment on a budget it can be hard. However, there are websites where you can find good apartments.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
I haven't had many hungarian dishes, so I have no idea, but my friends say that the hungarian "lángos" is very nice. It is like a flat bread, and it can have a big variety of toppings.
What places would you recommend visiting in Pecs?
There are a few museums in the city, as well as the Pecs zoo, a TV tower and a couple more places that are interesting to visit.

I don't really have a nightlife; however, I am sure there are good places to go to.
What advice would you give future students heading to Pecs?
Pecs is a nice place to be in, the people are also nice, there are lots of international students in the different faculties and you can make friends easily and get to learn about different cultures. Relax and get yourself ready to explore a new environment.
