The living costs is approximately 500 Euro monthly.

It consists of studying, sport activities and participating in International ceremonies in which every group of students represent their original country by showing off their culture and their gastronomy, etc.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Pecs to other students?

Yes; in fact the Medical University of Pécs is the most ancient university in Hungary and from My point of view, POTE is the best university in the world for future doctors in medicine and dentistry.

What is the food like?

The foods are so so, some foods have high quality and some foods have low quality. However you can find in every part of the city different kinds of appetizing pastries, bonbon, candies and chocolates.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Pecs?

finding accomodation is easy in Pécs thanks to the student housing offices inside the University and in downtown.

Living costs can be at least 500 Euro for a normal student life.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are different language course available here, but the Hungarian language is completely different from French or English language.

Every thing in this world is relative, nothing is absolutely easy and nothing is absolutely difficult.

The best airline from Tehran or Istanbul to Budapest is the Turkish Airlines and when you arrive in Budapest, you can come to Pécs by train which is the most economical and safest way to travel to Pécs.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Pecs?

Most of the public places close early in night; so I suggest you to stay at home and study.

I can recommend Xavér restaurant which has delicious and healthy foods.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are five ancient churches and Gazi kaszim mosque.

Pécs is a nice city suitable for diligent studying and sport. but those students, who want to have exciting festive night life, should choose Budapest not Pécs.
