I don't receive any money.
What is the student lifestyle like in Pecs?
It is a small town but nice. You will get to know the people pretty fast and it will be easy to get around. If you are living in a dorm you will find new freinds quciky. Especially if you are travelling alone.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Pecs to other students?
Yes, if you want to get to know Hungary, it is a good choice.
What is the food like?
Meat everywhere, difficult to be a vegan here.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Pecs?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Pecs?
60€ excluding foods etc.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Language courses are offered.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Pecs from your city?
Plane and train.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Pecs?
Defintely have to go out or you will be bored.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Pecs?
Leczer and Kohali.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Churches.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Pecs in the future?
Go out and travel. It is relatively cheap and it will make your stay much more exciting.
