Why did you choose to go to Pecs, Hungary?

I love travelling, and Hungary is one of the best countries for travelling, Pécs is located in the border between Serbia, Croatia and Hungary, and I have been travelling a lot this semester.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It lasts 6 months, and I receive 115 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Pecs?

Pécs is a student city, the second one in Hungary and it has a lot of night life

Would you recommend the city and the University of Pecs to other students?

Of course, dormitories are located in a quiet neighborhood and university is not too far, you have the chance to go out almost every day.

Universityi is one of the best in Hungary and teachers very helpful.

What is the food like?

It is easy to find cheap food and not too different from Spain.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Pecs?

No, the Erasmus coordinator put us in a dormitory.

How much does it cost to live in Pecs?

If you don't travel too much, with 400-500 euros is enough.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Hungary is very hard, but people are very kind and they talk in english without problem. University offers a hungarian course for free.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Pecs from your city?

I travelled from Madrid to Budapest with ryanair and form Budapest to Pecs by train, it costs like 7 euros and it is 3 hours.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Pecs?

Of course, as I said it has a very joyful nightlife.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Pecs?

I recommend Paulius, it is very cheap and it has a lot of things to order, very new and near university.
