Located in the city center, Piazza del Plebiscito is one of the most famous Neapolitan squares.

Just between via Toledo and the Royal Palace, Piazza del Plebiscito was and is still the heart of Naples. During the French domination, the square become even more important and central, especially when Gioacchino Murat, King of Naples and brother-in-law of Napoleon Bonaparte, wanted the construction of the famous "emiciclo", a symbol of the square.

If you have a walk in the city center, you can't absolutely miss a visit to Piazza del Plebiscito, a place where you can breathe the history.
