Why did you choose to go to Munich, Germany?
I was passionate about science so, I choose to study in LMU for my masters from Germany. I loved the curriculum of LMU. It was very flexible and open to get the right exposure to research. Students have a great opportunity to make choices of what they want to study. To study in LMU, I stepped in Munich.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I came here with my own money. I have not applied for any scholarships
What is the student lifestyle like in Munich?
Student lifestyle is very flexible. There will be many open possibilities to work either in academics or outside. German skills will be a big plus to work outside. If a student has to survive on their own money then it will be multi-tasking life.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Munich to other students?
Ya! I highly recommend people who are passonate to gain knowledge and exposure towards their own field must apply and study in University of Munich
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Munich?
Initially, it was difficult but I applied with student en Werk,Munich. I never approached any agencies because they charge too much.
How much does it cost to live in Munich?
When I lived in student dorms it costed me 500 euros per month including rent, food and expenses.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Ya! every semester there are language courses which will help us to learn more and make many friends from university
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Munich from your city?
Being an international candidate, I travel by flight.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Munich?
There are many restaurants to have good food. It completely depends on their own choice.
Burgers place: Schnelle Liebe, Hans und glück,Burger king,Pommes Freunde
Indian restaurants: Sher Punjab and Natraj
