What is it like to live in Munich? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Munich is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. I really like its parks and possibilities in the Summer for swimming (lales and rivers).

What is the student lifestyle like in Munich?

Munich is expensive which can make a student's life a little hard. But still, there are offers especially for students such as student prices. You will always meet other students when you go out in the city at night for some party.

How much does it cost to live in Munich?

Much! You should try to get a flat share, thats the best you can do here ...

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Munich? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, unfortunately it is. Start to find an accommodation very early, with the help of the internet. Germans often use "wg-gesucht.de" to find a flat share

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

German, especially the bavarian Food is awesome. Try "Brezel", maybe in a "Beergarden". And the Beer, of course.

What places would you recommend visiting in Munich?

Olympiapark, Marienplatz, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, the english Garden

Yes, just go downtown at night and you will find something

What advice would you give future students heading to Munich?

Start searching for an accommodation early, try german food, visit a lake (especially in the summer)
