Why did you choose to go to Munich, Germany?
Because it is a great beautiful city with a famous university, and I wanted to see some snow during wintertime.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
One year. I received 150 euros per month from the Erasmus, 100 euros per month from my country and 1400 euros from my university.
What is the student lifestyle like in Munich?
Perfect. There are lots of parties and excursions and a very good Erasmus association called Mesa.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Munich to other students?
Definitely yes. Both the university and the city are beautiful.
What is the food like?
Stogy but so good.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Munich?
Not really and for 300 euros per month (that's cheap here).
How much does it cost to live in Munich?
A lot to have accommodation, not so much for eating and partying.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
No. Yes, there are courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Munich from your city?
Bus or plane with transavia.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Munich?
Serdinglertor.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Munich?
Haufbrau next to Marienplatz.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The university and all the churches.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Munich in the future?
Take a coat and a good scarf.
