How long is the scholarship for? How much money do you receive as aid?

It was for 6 months. It was enough money to support myself.

How is student life in Munich?

In my case, I wasn't in the University or studying but otherwise working.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Munich to other students?

It's very recommendable.

How is the country's food?

The traditional food is rather good but there are options for whatever other diet you want.

Did you have any difficulty in finding accommodation in Munich?

It's rather complicated to find accommodation, considering the high demand. You have to spend a bit of time but you'll find something in the end.

How are living costs in Munich?

Accommodation is expensive. Transport can be somewhat expensive too but the monthly passes are recommendable although there is the option of getting around by bike. Everything else isn't too expensive.

How is the language? Did you go to any courses at the University?

The language is complicated but it's easy to get by with English. I went to two courses at the Volkshochschule which were quite cheap.

What is the most economical way of getting to Munich from your city?

The plane from Alicante to Munich, although there are good prices to Memmingem which isn't far.

Which places would you recommend to go out to party in Munich?

There areas close to the following metro stops: Münchner Freiheit, Sendlinger Tor and Ostbanhof.

And to eat in Munich? Can you name your favourite places?

I can barely remember the names. The 'biergarten's are always an option.

There are enough places to visit; sufficient for 3 days of sightseeing.

Any advice you want to give to future students in Munich?

Pay somewhat attention to accommodation. Everything else comes around.
