What is it like to live in Mumbai? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

As a tourist it's a city that will help you with out of the box experiences. From
Dhobi ghar to gate way of India to Bandstand to the national park to the cat cafe studio we have it all. Great place to also find short gigs to work part time. We are open to new talent.

What is the student lifestyle like in Mumbai?

Very nurturing.

How much does it cost to live in Mumbai?

Monthly
Rent - 15-25k rupees depending on the area.
South mumbai - very expensive as per universal standard.
Central and west and north mumbai are much cheaper.
Versova and Bandra are best as it also give you the city vibe.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Mumbai? Is there any advice you can give?

Airbnb is the best option.
Hostels too. For long term stay.
For short term say there are cheaper hotels like eskay resort in borivali.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Vadapav, pani Puri are the world famous foods.
Otherwise cafes in Bandra and andheri serve good international cuisines too. Road food is spicy so be careful

What places would you recommend visiting in Mumbai?

Gateway of India, Dhobi ghat,
Churchgate and queens necklace and cat cafe studio and the Taj group of hotels of course.

Is it good to eat out in Mumbai? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Bandras elco market is a safe option.
South mumbai has good joints. Zomato is very helpful.
Junk food is always reccomeded to be eaten only once a week.

Is the nightlife good in Mumbai? Where is good to go?

It's amazing
Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday the cafes and pubs are on fire.
Karaoke nights, open mics and good music gigs keep happening.
Roadhouse bluez, cat cafe studio, tuning fork, Prithvi cafe for plays.

What advice would you give future students heading to Mumbai?

Pick a good college and you will meet the right people which will
Help you with networking.
Sophia's and Xavier's for arts and humanities
NM for commerce fields. South mumbai has some of the best colleges.
