Local dishes, national and international cuisine is available at most of the places. Pure Indian vegetarian food is available at most of the places.

What places would you recommend visiting in Mumbai?

Many as such. Depends on one's interest. Mani Bhavan, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi.

Yes. Select a good and clean restaurant. Street foods are safe during non-monsson seasons.
