What is it like to live in Bombay? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It’s a city that never sleeps!
I wouldn’t recommend mumbai as a city to live unless you have a great job.To study Pune which is about three hours from mumbai. A great vibe and better quality of life.

Too much time is wasted in travelling
How much does it cost to live in Bombay?
For a good life a minimum of 1000 euros per month for a student.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bombay? Is there any advice you can give?
No it’s not difficult to find but not all areas are safe to live. Good areas there are flats on rent easily available.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Oh there are the best restaurants here. From street food to high end restaurants cafes an bars. Mumbai has it all. My favourite is chilly chicken fried rice which any Chinese restaurant would serve. Or a butter chicken with naan when it comes to Indian cuisine.
What places would you recommend visiting in Bombay?
For a tourist to be honest I don’t find mumbai a great place.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bombay?
Live in the western suburbs such as khar Bandra santacruz.These are safe and clean areas with good residential societies and complexes if you can afford it.
Else live close to your college or university
