What is it like to live in Mumbai? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Cool people, hot wheather and lots of places to visit.
Ofcourse i would if one wants to see how people can be so stuck with thier work yet how they find every bit of time to enjoy, smile and work !
What is the student lifestyle like in Mumbai?
Full of fun. Great restaurants and street food to try, many clubs, great ambiance, easy to assimilate in the culture and friendly people.
The travelling takes up most of the time,rest is all great
How much does it cost to live in Mumbai?
Very cheap. If coming from Europe, USA etc, would hardly cost 20 euros daily including good meals, commuting and other expenses
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Mumbai? Is there any advice you can give?
Not so difficult. Lots of options available to book as a paying guest, although accomodation is very very expensive compared to other parts of India
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Just too good! Favorites, Dosas, Vada pav, Paav bhaji and frankies
What places would you recommend visiting in Mumbai?
Beaches, South Mumbai, Marine drive, Gateway of India, Bandra worli sea link and many other places at few hours drive from Mumbai.
Is it good to eat out in Mumbai? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes it is. Juhu, Bandra, Borivali, Mulund are the best
Is the nightlife good in Mumbai? Where is good to go?
Its great. Lots of clubs in Khar, Bandra and worli
What advice would you give future students heading to Mumbai?
Be prepared to indulge in the cuture, regular festivals and heat
