My experience in Lisbon, Portugal, by Inês
What's it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What's the city like?
Lisbon is a cultural city with lots of diversity. Living in Lisbon is cheap, as well as the apartments.
On average how much did it cost to love in Lisbon?
Between €500 and €600, to pay for a room and if you're budgeting each month.
Is it hard to find accommodation in Lisbon? Do you have any advice?
You should start looking for accommodation months before your arrival, because if the Portuguese students have difficulties, the foreign students definitely will.
What's the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is varied and quite nice! Custard tarts (pasteis de nata) and pork from Alentejo are an absolute must.
Where would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?
Walking the banks of the castle, stopping at some of the viewpoints, and strolling along the riverside at Belém, as well as visiting the churches and alleyways that Lisbon has to offer, are all things I would recommend.
