What is it like to live in Lisboa? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Lisbon is the perfect city.
The weather is great, in the winter there is some rain and cold (8° - 18°) in the summer it is amazing, it is always sunny, there are a lot of beaches near by (you can reach them by train/bus/car) and the temperatures are something like 27° - 37°C.
The food is very varied, you can eat both meat and fish for cheap prices, and there are a lot of pastries, you can make a list and try them all. Usually the cafes have a lot of them on display and they go from 1€/1. 70€.
The city is full of architecture and beautiful landscapes. The nightlife is good as well, bars are open from 10pm until 3/4pm and the discos go from 12/1am until 6 or 7 in the morning (some until 8).
What is the student lifestyle like in Lisboa?
The student life is good. There are a lot of Universities in Lisbon and the Erasmus's environment is very good. There's even bar called Erasmus Corner in Bairro Alto (neighborhood of bars) where all the Erasmus meet. ESN Lisboa also arrange a lot trips and disco nights.
How much does it cost to live in Lisboa?
In Lisbon you can find a room from 200 to 350€ in nice and cool neighborhoods, if you don't want to stay in the city Centre you can find cheaper ones and the metro line is great and fast so don't worry much about it.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisboa? Is there any advice you can give?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is to die for!
- Bitoque: steak with French fries and salads and fried egg;
- Bifana: cheap porc steak in bread.
Any fish!
The pastries!
- Bola de Berlim,
- Pastel de Nata,
- Merenda,
- Folhado de Salsicha,
- Mil Folhas.
What places would you recommend visiting in Lisboa?
See all the Miradouros, check the castle, go to the beach, go to Belém, go to Sintra, go to Cascais, there is so much to see!
Is the nightlife good in Lisboa? Where is good to go?
Check the bars/pub's at Bairro Alto, there are hundreds, for every taste, Irish, Portuguese, Cuban, Erasmus, gay, etc etc.
What advice would you give future students heading to Lisboa?
Try to go in the 2nd Semester as you'll find amazing weather, you can hit the beach, surf and go out just with your T-shirt on!
