What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Compared to other cities in Portugal, Lisbon is a very busy city, with a lot of people and a lot to see.
It is a bit expensive city, especially to live, but for those who like beautiful and always awake cities, I recommend.
There are many means of transport and shops everywhere.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Studying in Lisbon universities is hard, lots of group work, presentations and subjects. During these periods it's almost just study, eat and sleep, but there is still a little time to visit the city, have a few parties and make new friends.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

In terms of accommodation, if you live in a residence, monthly you pay, approximately, 150 euros.Otherwise, the rent for an apartment is between 350-600 euros per month.
The cost of the food is average, for example, I spend 50 euros a month in food.
In terms of transport, passes are more advantageous but if you don't have a sub23 pass, it can cost up to 60 euros per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?

This is not very difficult to find accommodation but it can be very expensive. If you can, try to stay in a student residence.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very good (it has lots of spices but it’s not usually very spicy)and a traditional portuguese meal always has soup, a main course (usually with meat / fish and carbohydrates), salad and a dessert.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

Parque das Nações, Rossio, Belém, LXfactory and estufa fria in Parque Eduardo VII.

Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Where there are many restaurants with cuisine from different cultures and Mac or burgerKings everywhere.
100 montaditos is a good place to eat some very tasty sandwiches.

Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?

Yes, a good place is for example lust in rio, or the MUSICBOX
