What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lisbon is amazing! The places are beautiful and there's always something new to see and somewhere new to try new food. The weather is amazing during most of the year, and this includes sunny days in the winter too.
The subway system is very easy to understand. Also pastel de nata os the best pastry ever invented.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Lots of places to go near most unis. Places to eat, to study, to party. It is a great place for students

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?

It is difficult to find fairly affordable accommodation in Lisbon but it depends where you're looking for and what you're looking for.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Amazing food! But it always includes lots of meat (including chorizo) or bacalhau (codfish).
My favourite Portuguese thing to eat is definitely pastel de nata.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

Art museum in Belém (Coleção Berardo)
Chiado
LxFactory
Rato (the park there is nice)

Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is very good but again in depends where you eat. The food can be amazing but very expensive or still good and fairly cheap.
Some cheap places I like are: Panda Cantina (ramen place), Don Costini (pizza and burgers), Time Out Market has lots of restaurant options and the dumplings at Asian Lab are amazing.
There's a place called Ground Burger that is more expensive but still good and on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays they sell amazing donuts there (expensive but worth it)

Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?

I don't like going out so I never have fun but lots of students go to the bars in Bairro Alto or clubs like Urban Beach or Docks

What advice would you give future students heading to Lisbon?

Get ready to have an amazing stay because Lisbon is an amazing city!
