What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lisbon is a beautiful city with an incrideble good weather, with awesome food at really good prices, good shopping centers, a massive rich culture and views that can take your breath away, from the sea side to the architecture and much more!

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Student lifestyle here is very open, you have cool spots to hang out in the university and usually a calm place to study.

Lisbon is not an expensive country, expecially comparing to others, and you will probably find a good place to live at an affordable price, just like the food or transports.

I think it's bit hard to find accommodation in Lisbon when you already set a low budget, if you want to find good things at a good price the moment you know you're coming to Lisbon start searching so you can find a cool place to live :)

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food in Portugal is absolutely incredible! Our cuisine is characterize a lot by codfish dishes ("bacalhau à brás", "bacalhau espiritual", "bacalhau com natas"...), octopus and our own traditional, that you can not live without, COZIDO À PORTUGUESA, that is a dish that has a lot of different sausages, cabagge, potato and other things! yummi

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

When you go to Lisbon you have to go to:
1) Belém, home of the Pastel de Nata, with a lot of incredible monuments such as Jeronimos Monsstery or the Belem Tower and beautiful gardens where you can just chill out.
2) Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, if you're looking for a good museum or a good concert or justa walk in the garden this is where you go
3) Parque das Nações, here you can walk by the river or just look at it while you have a nice lunch on one of the multiple restaurants we have there, or you can always go shopping in Vasco da Gama, where near you have our state-of-the-art aqquarium
4) Castelo de S. Jorge, a beautiful view on a beautiful castle
5) Elevador de Santa Justa, an antique elevator with amazing views

There are a lot more you can do, between the churches and museums and many other things, but never forget to go to places like Baixa-Chiado have a coffee and chill by the sound of street musicians.

It's perfect eating out in Lisbon, if you're looking for more "normal" things beside of couisine like hamburgers or pastas you shold go to Príncipe Real or Baixa-Chiado.
If you're looking for something more chic go to Terreiro do Paço near the river or ever Parque das Nações.
You have a ton lot a places to chose from.

The nightlife in Lisbon is good but it's veryyyyyy late, unless you're just chilling with some friends with a couple of drinks. For either disco or bars you have mainly Santos, Baixa-Chiado and Cais do Sodré.
