What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lisbon is a beautiful and rich city. Lisbon is a fun and unique place, has something for everybody. Has amazing transport and has shops, supermarkets and coffee shops near everyone. I 100% recommend it for everybody, because there is no place like Lisbon and Lisbon is one or even the best city in Europe.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

The student lifestyle is amazing and really social. Portuguese people love to go out or drink beer with their friends in the park. Lisbon is a perfect city for students there is a lot to do and go.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

Renting a room or an apartment can be pretty expensive. However you can find some good deals in a great localisation. Going out to a nightclub or to a restaurant the prices are reasonable. The food is really cheap in Portugal compared to a lot of places in Europe and in the world.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?

Can be challenging, but is not that hard. Usually the university has some adverts of apartments you can check it out.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is amazing! Portuguese food is really rich and has a really good quality. Try our sea food, bacalhau à bras, pastel de nata, arroz de marisco and our meat dishes are really good for the meat fans that are not my case.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

I recommend Chiado, Belem, Cais do Sodre, Bairro Alto, Castelo de Sao Jorge and go to our beautiful viewpoints. Then you can visit Cascais and go to the beaches. Get lost in Lisbon that is the best way to meet the city.

Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is amazing. There is so many places for everyone. Mercado da Ribeira is great. In Principe Real are really good restaurants as well.

Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?

So fun we have some night clubs, but bairro alto is the most fun so you jump from bar to bar and meet a lot of people.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lisbon?

Have fun, talk to the locals we love to talk to you. And get to know Lisbon don't be afraid to get lost and enjoy your time.
