What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lisbon is a busy city. There is a lot going on at the same time, lots of events, parties, lots of people. It also has the great advantage of being very connected to the sea, having beautiful gardens and parks spread throughout the city and monuments such as the Tower of Bethlehem, the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos.

A very positive point of Lisbon is the fact that most people speak English. And the vast majority of Portuguese understand other languages as well. There is also an atmosphere of coexistence between different cultures and religions.

Lisbon is not a very cheap capital (like Prague for example), but it is also not very expensive (like Paris). It has an average cost of living.
