What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is very nice to live in. Safe, calm and beautiful. I'd recommend it 100 %. The nightlife is great and there's a lot of nice places such as shops, gardens etc.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

It's really nice, each college has their own parties, festivals and bbqs. But of course you can go to other college parties. Which sounds great in my opinion.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

The rooms have been pretty expensive lately, but I think that with the corona virus things are going to change. But other then accommodation, things are pretty affordable.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?

I don't think it is, but again a bit expensive. If it gets hard just try something in the suburbs of Lisbon but with good transport connections like Sintra and Oeiras.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is just great! The custard tarts are amazing! Bacalhau is also a must. The key is going with an open mind. I'm sure you'll love everything.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Belém, EXPO, downtown (baixa-chiado), Terreiro do Paço Square, Parque Eduardo VII.

Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Sure! Every place is great, I would suggest "pasteis de belém" is the most known custard tart shop. "Portugália" It's a really good company with good tipical food. D. Bacalhau in expo is just the BEST bacalhau spot in lisbon, you really have to try that.

Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?

Of course! Santos, Bairro alto, Cais do sodré, docs. These are places with loads of bars but they are quit different from each other, you should try all them and then choose your fav.

Go with an open mind, enjoy the beautiful city, try to actually visit it, and have a great time! I'm sure you'll love it.
